About the Product
- What subscription packages do you offer?
We offer three subscription packages: our World and USA Editions, and our new Early Explorers. In our new Early Explorers, our characters, Max, Mia and their dog Toby, travel around the world exploring a different theme each month. In our World Edition, our characters Sam and Sofia travel to a new country every month. In our USA Edition, Sam and Sofia travel to two new states every month. - What items are included in every package?
We’ve carefully designed and hand selected each of the packages to ensure your child has a fun and educational experience. Our Early Explorers packages include activity books, stickers, Snapshots, Flashlight Adventures, and souvenirs. Learn more about our Early Explorers. Our World Edition packages include letters from Sam and Sofia, souvenirs, photos, stickers, activity sheets and access to online games and activities. Learn more about our World Edition. - What is the recommended age range for children subscribing to Little Passports?
The recommended age range for our subscriptions are as follows: 3 to 5 years old for our Early Explorers, 6 to 10 years old for our World Edition, and 7 to 12 years old for our USA Edition.
- What types of online information, games and activities can children access?
We've designed fun and educational online games and activities. With our World Edition, children receive monthly boarding passes to access our Boarding Zone. There are 3 games and activities for each month’s country. Example games and activities include cooking games, treasure hunts, sports games, trivia games, puzzles and interactive maps.
The first step to getting online is to register the original Worldwide Boarding Passcode. This is the boarding pass you received with your Explorer Kit, it shows Sam and Sofia on their red scooter on one side. Once you have created a username and password you will then be able to log in to the Boarding Zone to enter the country code you receive each month to unlock your monthly games.
With our USA Edition, children receive access to a special area on our website for every state they visit. Each new state features more exciting information on Sam and Sofia’s adventures, photos and a game/activity. Learn about and build an online hurricane for Florida, make pizzas for New York and more!
- What countries are currently available in the World Edition?
In addition to the first month's Explorer Kit, we currently offer mailings for 35 countries including: Antarctica, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Poland, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam!
- What states are currently available in the USA Edition?
When you sign up for our USA Edition, you can travel to all 50 states over a 26-month period. For the first month, you receive your starter USA Discovery Kit. Every month thereafter, you’ll travel to two new states for a total subscription length of 26 months.
- What themes are covered in the Early Explorers?
Early Explorers includes 17 themes over a 18-month period. Your child will receive their Traveler Kit in the first month, followed by a themed package each month thereafter. Themes include: landmarks, music, animals, food, art, oceans, natural wonders, world coins, space, world discoveries, dinosaurs, science, celebrations, habitats, transportation, insects, and sports.
- How did you develop the content and materials for Little Passports?
Throughout our development cycle, we have partnered closely with a panel of parents and educators who have direct experience working with children in our target age range. We have also tested our product directly with children and incorporated their feedback.
- How do subscriptions work for siblings?
Families can order individual subscriptions for each sibling, or they can share one subscription amongst multiple siblings. To share a subscription, for the Child’s Shipping Information, you can enter in multiple first names (“Jack and Jill”) or a family name (“The Brown Kids” or the “The Brown Family).
- Is Little Passports available for teachers to use in the classroom?
Currently, our product is available for families to receive at home. If you are a teacher or educator and would like to explore using Little Passports in your classroom, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.

- How much does a Little Passports subscription cost?
We offer several different subscription plans for our intrepid travelers. Please visit our Early Explorers, our World Edition and our USA Edition subscription pages for more details on each of our plans.
- How much does shipping cost?

Our shop items can be shipped individually as a stand alone or bundled with a subscription. A flat shipping fee is applied for each delivery address. If the shop item is bundled with a subscription, it will be shipped with the first package of the subscription.
We ship our international packages from the U.S. using a shipping method that is the most affordable for our international customers. Please note that this shipping method does not provide for tracking numbers. Packages are delivered by your local mail carrier and typically arrive within 11-14 business days. Shipping fees for countries outside of the U.S. do not include duties and taxes. Customers are responsible for paying all import fees and duties, which will be payable at the time of delivery.
- How soon after I place my order will my Little Passports subscription start?
Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for your Little Passports subscription to start and for you to receive your first package. If shipping outside of the U.S., please allow up to 6 weeks.
You can also download and print a Little Passports gift card to announce your gift. You can download and print the gift card for the World and USA Edition. You can download and print the gift card for the Early Explorers Edition.
During checkout, you'll also have the opportunity to send a gift email to the recipient to let them know their surprise is on the way!
After the first month, the subsequent packages ship around the middle of the month. Please note that packages for the different editions ship on different days and via different shipping carriers. Therefore the packages will not arrive on the same day if you subscribe to multiple editions.
- When will my Little Passports Shop order arrive?
Stand alone shop item orders (not bundled with a subscription) ship within 3-4 days of order receipt. Upon shipping, U.S. orders will deliver within 4-8 business days. Shipments destinations outside of the U.S. will deliver within 11-14 business days. Little Passports is not responsible for delays due to weather, delivery carrier factors, customer error, holiday-related delays, international customs regulations, or any other unforeseen factors
If the shop item is bundled with a subscription, it will be shipped with the first package of the subscription.
- How can I find out where my package is?
You can check the status of your order online by logging into your customer account. Once your order ships, we will send you a shipping notification email with tracking information. In some cases, tracking information may not be available for international-bound packages depending on the destination and method of shipment. Be sure to mark email@example.com as a valid sender to ensure our notification emails aren't sent to your spam folder.
- My order has shipped but tracking information is still unavailable on the carrier's site. How can I find out where it is?
Tracking information may not be available for the first 24-48 hours after you receive your shipping confirmation email. If it's been more than 48 hours and you are still having trouble tracking your package, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Why haven't I received all of my items?
All subscription plans (World Edition, USA Edition, and Early Explorers) ship separately, even if purchased on the same order. Non-subscription products (World Coin Collection or other items from the Little Passports Shop) also ship separately unless specified otherwise. Due to variations in order processing and shipping times, multiple shipments may arrive on different dates.
- What is your cancellation policy?
If you have purchased a Monthly subscription plan where we bill you on a monthly basis, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your satisfaction is very important to us. Please email us at: email@example.com and we will cancel your subscription with 30 days notice.
Prepaid plans are not refundable but can be transferred to another child.
- When will I be billed?
Your credit card with be charged at the time you submit your order on our website. Please note that we bill in advance of packages being shipped in order to process the shipments.
If you subscribed to a monthly-billed plan, you are charged for your first package on the day that you sign up for your subscription. Subsequent monthly charges will occur on the 24th of each month. If you signed up between the 2nd and the 15th, your introductory kit will be shipped out the same month and you will be billed on the 24th for your second package to enable us to process your next country package.
- Can I order Little Passports as a gift?
We would love for you to gift a Little Passports subscription! When you place your order you can send a gift email to the recipient to let them know their gift is on the way! You can include a personalized gift message that will be included with the first package of your subscription. You can also download and print a Little Passports gift card to announce your gift.

- Can I indicate a different address for the first package?
We can ship the first package to you and have the remainder of the subscription shipped directly to the child. Just enter your own address in the shipping address field and then email our Customer Care team at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and the child's address. We'll update the shipping address on the subscription effective on the second shipment.
- Do you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO addresses and US Territories?
Yes, we ship to P.O. Boxes, APO addresses and US Territories.
- Can I order a Little Passports subscription to be delivered outside the United States?
Our subscriptions are currently available to ship within the US, Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden and UK. If you're interested in shipping to the US, Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Sweden please click here. All prices on the site are in US Dollars (USD). If you are interested in purchasing a subscription to ship to the UK, please click here to go to our UK site. Prices on the UK site are in British Pounds (GBP).
We ship our international packages from the US using a shipping method that is the most affordable for our international customers. - What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
- Do you charge sales tax?
We charge sales tax for subscriptions sent to addresses within CA, CT and NV. Taxes for these states will be calculated at checkout.
- Can I purchase a subscription to Little Passports in a retail store?
Currently, Little Passports subscriptions are only available for purchase through our website.
- Can I apply more than one coupon code to my order?
No, only one coupon code can be applied to each order. Coupon code(s) cannot be combined with any other offers and/or applied retroactively to previously placed orders.
Managing My Subscription
- When am I billed if I sign up for a monthly plan?
You are billed for your first package on the day that you sign up for your subscription. Subsequent monthly charges will occur on the 24th of each month. If you signed up between the 2nd and the 15th, your introductory kit will be shipped out the same month and you will be billed on the 24th for your second package to enable us to process your next country package. Please note that we do bill in advance of packages being shipped in order to process the shipments.
- If I sign up for a monthly plan, do I have to reorder every month?
No, you do not have to reorder each month. If you are subscribed to a monthly plan, you will be billed automatically on the 24th of each month.
- My Little Passports subscription is about to end. How can I continue it?
If you have purchased a 3, 6, or 12-month subscription package and would like to continue your subscription, please renew the subscription through your online account by logging into My account. If your subscription is set to auto renew, it will continue for the initial term and then will automatically renew for successive periods generally equal to the initial term of the subscription. To check if your subscription is set to automatically renew, log into My Account. If you were gifted a subscription, we offer renewal plans that allow you to continue receiving new packages for your subscription. Please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org for renewal options.
- How does your automatic renewal feature work?
Auto-renewing Subscriptions will continue for the initial term and then will automatically renew for successive periods generally equal to the initial term of the subscription. For example, a one year subscription will renew at the end of the first year for an additional one year period. There is one exception to this general rule. If your Auto-renewing Subscription happens to be for the USA Edition that has a full subscription term of 26 months, the last renewal term will be 2 months longer to ensure you receive all 26 shipments. For example, if the initial term was 12 months, the renewal term will be 14 months. Each Auto-renewing Subscription will renew at the subscription rate in effect at the time of renewal. You may not cancel an Auto-renewing Subscription prior to the end of the subscriptions’ then current initial or renewal term. This service ensures that your child will never risk missing a monthly package, and there is no confusion about when your subscription term is ending. And there is no commitment! You are free to opt-out of the automatic renewal service at any time. To disable the auto renew feature, please do the following:
1. Log into My Account
2. Locate your subscription
3. Click "Change" under auto renewal
4. Select "Your subscription will not auto renew"
5. Click "Save"

- Can I customize the order in which the country packages arrive?
We currently do not offer the ability to customize the order/sequencing of the monthly country or monthly state mailings.
- How can I update the address associated with my subscription if I move?
You can update the address information in your online customer account by logging into My Account. To update your address, please do the following:
1. Login to your Account
2. Click on "Update" under shipping address
3. Enter the updated information
4. Click on "Update Shipping Address"
Our Customer Care Team can also update the address for you. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us your name, child's name, current address on file and new address. Once we receive this information, we will update the address for the next monthly mailing. Please note that the address changes should be made before the 1st of a calendar month to ship that month's package to the new address.
- What is your cancellation policy?
If you have purchased the Monthly subscription plan where we bill you on a monthly basis, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your satisfaction is very important to us. Please email us at: email@example.com and we will cancel your subscription with 30 days notice. Prepaid plans are non-refundable.
- How can I tell when my subscription will end?
