Associate Producer

We pride ourselves on designing products that delight families. We’re growing fast and expanding our product portfolio. To support this growth, we are looking for an Associate Producer to be an integral member of our Product Design Team. Our Associate Producer will be responsible for working with the rest of our Product Design Team to help develop products from conception through to execution and launch.

You’re someone who is passionate about designing innovative and educational products for children. You’re creative and can come up with great product ideas. You’re also someone who can plan and lead a project all the way through from ideation to execution and launch working with a cross-functional team including designers, sourcing, marketing, copy editors, operations and customer service. You can come up with project plans/milestones and manage to the plan.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with product ideation and defining requirement
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to optimize current products
  • Conduct research for products (e.g., stories, activity sheets, travel souvenirs)
  • Develop creative briefs for products (e.g., packaging and activity sheets)
  • Develop timelines and project plans
  • Manage cross-functional design team including designers and copyeditors
  • Synthesize analytics and user research to help inform product direction and priorities

Requirements
  • At least 2 to 3 years of product design and creative writing experience

Director of Inventory

Little Passports is growing fast, and to support this growth, we are looking for a seasoned Director of Inventory to lead our Inventory Team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory, including inventory strategy, demand planning, sourcing, purchasing, and control.

You’re someone who is a proven strategist and executor. You are also a proven people manager and can lead and develop a talented group of individuals. You must be extremely flexible and comfortable working with ambiguity and enjoy a “high change” environment where priorities shift from day to day. This is a critical hire for the company. You will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day operations of the company as well as the ability to influence the company’s long-term strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the executive team and your cross-functional team leads, including operations, FP&A, marketing and product development to meet and exceed company financial goals and drive long-term planning.
  • Lead and develop Inventory Team promoting a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment. You’re someone who is genuinely interested in investing in and growing each of your team members.
  • Lead all demand planning including inventory budget and forecasting and all supply chain initiatives including purchasing, inventory management and sourcing.
  • Monitor and report out forecast accuracy, track performance of key metrics and evolve planning tools including building and managing inventory and forecasting systems.
  • Work closely with Operations Team and 3PL to manage inventory levels, reconcile inbound inventory shipments and ensure inventory systems reflect accurate SKU and inventory data.
  • Identify and anticipate risks and develop contingency plans and processes to prevent disruptions when risks occur.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years work experience in inventory planning and management, preferably in consumer ecommerce or retail
  • Strong track record of leading and developing a team
  • Exceptional business acumen, financial analysis, technical and quantitative skills required
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • High proficiency in Excel required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills

Associate Sourcing Manager

Little Passports is growing fast, and to support this growth, we are looking for an Associate Sourcing Manager to help with our product sourcing efforts. You will join our Inventory Team and report to our Director of Sourcing. You will be responsible for helping with all aspects of product sourcing including supplier management, product design/sampling, supplier negotiations and product testing.

You’re someone who has experience sourcing products for a children’s company, and you’re passionate about ensuring the products you source are high-quality and delight children. You are resourceful, quick on your feet, highly detail-oriented, takes initiative, and takes great joy in delighting customers. You must be extremely flexible and comfortable working with ambiguity and enjoy a “high change” environment where priorities shift from day to day. You must also possess strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage sourcing across the company’s entire product portfolio including sourcing for new and ongoing initiatives
  • Identify, review and select new vendors/suppliers to ensure they meet company guidelines with regards to product quality and safety
  • Manage vendor partnerships including communicating and understanding product requirements, any constraints, costing, lead times and MOQs. Arrange and manage pipeline for product sampling.
  • Manage all product safety testing initiatives including testing with independent third-party labs and ensuring all products have proper labeling attached
  • Collaborate with the Product Development Team on product development efforts. Partner to understand and communicate product requirements between the team and external suppliers. Manage sourcing development calendar to ensure your sourcing efforts will deliver on company timelines and priorities.
  • Collaborate with your colleagues on the Inventory Team and on the Operations to ensure the entire supply chain planning and purchase process is operating efficiently and effectively.

  • Work with freight forwarders to arrange transportation as necessary
Requirements

Software Developer

We are expanding and looking for a full stack software developer to help support our growth. You will become an integral member of our engineering team developing best practices and influencing our direction. You will need to be comfortable both with front-end and back-end development.
