Dear Little Passports Community,

We hope you and your families are safe and well. We know that many of you are grappling with the same issues we are—to keep your families and loved ones healthy and your children happy and learning. The health and safety of our customers, our employees, and our greater communities is our top priority. We know that now, more than ever, our products are needed by families such as yours to keep your kids curious, engaged and learning at home. While we have been delivering on our mission of inspiring children to learn around them for over eleven years, we know that the need today is greater than ever.  To that end, we are working tirelessly to ensure that our products and monthly subscription boxes continue to ship and are delivered to you in the safest way possible.

We are proud to say that the majority of our employees have been working safely and productively from home since March 12th to help support social distancing.  Our fulfillment facilities are up and running and continue to process and ship your orders. Our warehouses are adhering to the guidelines and safety measures recommended by the CDC and are taking every precaution to ensure their facilities, products, and employees remain safe. This includes frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all common areas, requiring all employees to exercise proper hand washing and 6ft social distancing, and the use of gloves and face masks at all times when handling our products. These extra precautions may cause some orders to be delayed, but we hope you understand that we are doing our best to prioritize safety during these times.

What subscription packages do you offer?

We offer five subscription packages: our World and USA Editions, Early Explorers, Science Junior and Science Expeditions.  In our World Edition, our characters Sam and Sofia travel to a new country every month. In our USA Edition, Sam and Sofia travel to two new states every month. In the Early Explorers, our characters, Max, Mia and their dog Toby, travel around the world exploring a different theme each month. In Science Expeditions and Science Junior, Sam and Sofia reveal the mysteries of the world through science experiments and activities.

What is the recommended age range for children subscribing to Little Passports?

The recommended age range for our subscriptions are as follows: 3 to 5 years old for our Early Explorers, 5 to 8 years old for Science Junior, 6 to 10 years old for our World Edition, 7 to 12 years old for our USA Edition and 9+ for our Science Expeditions.

What countries are currently available in the World Edition?

Your child will receive their Explorer Kit in the first month, followed by a country package each month thereafter. Some of the countries included are: Australia, Brazil, China, England, France, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and more!

What themes are covered in the Early Explorers?

Your child will receive their Traveler Kit in the first month, followed by a themed package each month thereafter. Some themes include: landmarks, music, animals, food, art, oceans, natural wonders, world coins, space, world discoveries, dinosaurs, science, celebrations, habitats, transportation, insects, and sports.

What themes are covered in the Science Expeditions?

Your child will receive the Forensic Science package in the first month, followed by a themed package each month thereafter. Themes include: Forensic Science, Caves & Crystals, Hydrology, Optics & Vision, Rockets and more!

How do subscriptions work for siblings?

Families can order individual subscriptions for each sibling, or they can share one subscription amongst multiple siblings. To share a subscription, for the Child’s Shipping Information, you can enter in multiple first names (“Jack and Jill”) or a family name (“The Williams Kids” or the “The Williams Family”).

What items are included in every package?

We’ve carefully designed and hand selected each of the packages to ensure your child has a fun and educational experience. Our Early Explorers packages include activity books, stickers, trading cards, and souvenirs. Our World Edition packages include letters from Sam and Sofia, fun souvenirs and collectibles, stickers, activity sheets and access to games and activities online. What types of online information, games and activities can children access?

We’ve designed fun and educational online games and activities. With our World Edition, children receive monthly boarding passes that provides them with access to more information online. There are photos, activities, fun facts, music and more for each month’s country.

With our USA Edition, children receive access to a special area on our website for every state they visit. Each new state features more exciting information on Sam and Sofia’s adventures, photos and a game/activity. Learn about and build an online hurricane for Florida, make pizzas for New York and more!

When you sign up for our USA Edition, you can travel to all 50 states over a 26-month period. For the first month, you receive your starter USA Discovery Kit. Every month thereafter, you’ll travel to two new states for a total subscription length of 26 months.

Your child will receive the Weddell Seals package in the first month, followed by a themed package each month thereafter.  Themes include: Volcanos, Music, Chimpanzees, Optical Illusions, Deep Sea Explorations, and more!

How soon after I place my order will my Little Passports subscription start?

We typically process orders within 48 hours of receipt (please allow an additional 24 hours during weekends). Once your order ships, we will send you a shipping notification email with tracking information. In some cases, tracking information may not be available for international-bound packages depending on the destination and method of shipment. Be sure to mark support@littlepassports.com as a valid sender to ensure our notification emails aren’t sent to your spam folder. You can also check the status of your order in your online customer account, by simply logging into My Account.

You can also download and print a Little Passports gift card to announce your gift. To print a gift card, click here.

During checkout, you’ll also have the opportunity to send a gift email to the recipient to let them know their surprise is on the way!

My order has shipped but tracking information is still unavailable on the carrier's site. How can I find out where it is?

Shipping carriers are currently experiencing delivery delays due to increased mail volume. It can generally take up to 72 hours for tracking information to be updated on the shipping carriers website. In some cases, shipping carriers are skipping scans for thousands of shipments, and tracking information is taking over a week to update. If it has been more than 7 days and you are still having trouble tracking your package, contact us at support@littlepassports.com and we’ll make sure you get your order. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Can I indicate a different address for the first package?

We do offer the option to ship your first package to yourself or another address and have the on-going packages ship to the child’s home directly. When placing your order, enter the child’s name and address as the shipping address. Once your order is placed, you’ll be able to adjust the address directly from your account by doing the following:

1. Click on “My Account” in the Upper right hand corner
2. Click on “Manage Subscriptions”
3. Find the subscription you would like to update
4. Underneath the shipping address, click on “Send first shipment to different address”
5. In the First Package Shipping Address box, type in the name and address where the first package should ship to
6. Click on “Save”

Can I order a Little Passports subscription to be delivered outside the United States?

Our subscriptions are currently available to ship within the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and UK.

Please note that this shipping method does not provide for tracking numbers. Your first package can take up to 6 weeks to deliver. Subsequent monthly packages ship mid-month and typically arrive within 11-14 business days. All packages are delivered by your local mail carrier.

Shipping fees for countries outside of the U.S. do not include duties and taxes. Customers are responsible for paying all import fees and duties, which will be payable at the time of delivery.

Do you charge sales tax?

We charge sales tax based on the shipping address for most states. Taxes will be calculated at checkout.

Managing My Subscription

My Little Passports subscription is about to end. How can I continue it?

If you have purchased a 6, or 12-month subscription package and would like to continue your subscription, please renew the subscription through your online account by logging into My account. If your subscription is set to auto renew, it will continue for the initial term and then will automatically renew for successive periods generally equal to the initial term of the subscription. To check if your subscription is set to automatically renew, log into My Account. If you were gifted a subscription, we offer renewal plans that allow you to continue receiving new packages for your subscription. Please email us at: support@littlepassports.com for renewal options.

How can I update the address associated with my subscription if I move?

You can update the address information in your online customer account by logging into My Account. To update your address, please do the following:

1. Login to your Account
2. Click on “Update” under shipping address
3. Enter the updated information
4. Click on “Update Shipping Address”

Who are the people behind Little Passports?

Little Passports was founded by two moms who wanted to design a fun and engaging way for children to learn about the world. Please read our About Us page for more info.
