Extracting DNASimple Homeschool

“The experiment we tried from Science Expeditions completely won me over you guys! We made DNA! Like that we could physically see! The process was so simple and the results left the kids and me completely in awe.” – Jamie Martin

Over the years, blogger Jamie had tried different experiments from other science kits but the experiments were too complicated or she didn’t have any of the materials on hand, and they wouldn’t turn out the way the kids were expecting. She was very pleasantly surprised with Science Expeditions because it worked easily!

Jamie said, “The graphic novel style comic book included in our package was also a perfect fit for the older elementary/tween age group, featuring a mystery that characters Sam and Sofia have to use science to solve.”

Living Montessori NowMontessori Now Review of Science Expeditions

“It can be difficult to get kids excited about science – especially if you didn’t enjoy science as a child. But I’m excited to share something that makes it easy for you to give your kids a fun way to explore science at home or in the classroom. It’s the brand new Little Passports Science Expeditions subscription, which is out just in time for holiday gift giving!” – Deb Chitwood

Deb from Living Montessori Now is a former Montessori teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  She writes a blog showcasing how Montessori principles can be used for homeschooling, traditional classrooms, parenting and more. She often uses her granddaughter in her reviews, and educational products are important to her.

Deb goes on to say, “I love the themed, interdisciplinary approach… The characters and monthly comic book make science much more accessible for many kids.”

We’re excited that Deb likes our STEAM-focused activities and monthly themes. We designed the monthly comic books to help engage kids with the materials, and of course, to get them interested in science!

Blogger Onica from Mommyfactor came to our launch party for Science Expeditions! See what she had to say:

“To encourage a love of science is such a great reason to have this product available for families. My son, and other kids these days, are VERY curious so this is a perfect educational subscription box.

During the event we had the chance to see real science in action at various stations.”

Unboxing Video with TTPM

“This is a fun, engaging, and kid-friendly way for young kids to explore science. Kids will like opening their kit each month to see what new and exciting activities they’ll get to do. And storing all of their special science tools in their science case and taking experiment notes in their lab notebook will make them feel just like a real scientist. The kit activities are also more than just science. The activities encourage interdisciplinary thinking, including science, technology, engineering, art, and math, better known as STEAM, which parents will appreciate.”
