Make an Apple Mummy

Ancient Egyptians practiced mummification to preserve the human body. Embalmers had to know all about human anatomy to ensure the process was done correctly. To properly preserve the body, embalmers dried it out completely using a type of salt called natron. After the body was dried out, the mummies were wrapped in hundreds of yards of linen. Learn more about the mummification process by making your own mummy apple!
