World Landmarks!

A landmark is a famous building or structure. In their letter, Max and Mia told you about their visits to landmarks like the Sydney Opera House, the Great Wall of China and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They also visited Stonehenge in England and Himeji Castle in Japan! Did you know that Himeji Castle is nicknamed the White Heron Castle because some think it looks like a heron (a type of bird) perched on a hill?

We have more fun landmarks facts below, along with a printable activity sheet with step-by-step instructions on how to create a landmark of your own: a cardboard castle! Also, take a look at Toby in front of one of his favorite landmarks.

Check out the extras below and keep exploring landmarks around the world!
