Animals Wild Reviews!

Little Passports’s newest subscription box for kids, Animals Wild, lets you play with and learn about Earth’s most fascinating animals through hands-on playsets, laugh-out-loud games, and fun facts and activities. We sent out a few kits to families to see what they had to say, and we’ve been positively thrilled by the reviews.

Note: We love that families think our playsets have so much to offer that they call them books, but we don’t want to be misleading. Reviewers referring to “books” in the kits are talking about the playsets.

“As I’m typing this, I noticed that he just set down the iPad and is playing with it as we speak!”

We received the “Amok in the Amazon” kit a few days ago. First of all, I should state that my son is autistic. So I had reservations going in if this would actually hold his attention. With most things that he does, there will be an initial phase of amazement, then he will never look at it again. But with this, it was something he went back to several times since we received the package! Still does! It was perfect for him to play with, and a great activity for us to do together. . . . The book that came with the package is now the book we have to look through and read every night before bed. FINALLY dethroning the mighty “Green Eggs & Ham”! (Thank god!)

Overall, I think it was a fantastic product! He loved it, and had a great time with it. You know, it’s funny—as I’m typing this, I noticed that he just set down the iPad and is playing with it as we speak!

“It’s been pretty much the only thing he’s played with the last few days, which is saying a lot, considering that he almost exclusively plays with Legos.”

My 4-1/2-year-old son was so tickled to get his Little Passports Amazon box, and he was not disappointed when it came. It was nicely packaged, with appealing colors and pieces to play with and assemble—he *loves* stuff he can assemble. He wanted to get started opening and playing with it right away. . . . Once assembled, the animals were really cute and really fun. My kid named them (Perry the Parrot, Jaggy the Jaguar, the Man-Faced Tamarin, Robbit Ribbit the Poison Dart Frog) and set to work putting them to bed on their foam leaf beds.

My son is still playing with it in his own way, but he’s enjoying: flipping through the tree-shaped book and learning about the animals & the Amazon, putting the animal pods onto the foam leaves, putting the animals to bed in the tree, hanging the tamarin from leaves, having the snake devour the tamarin, having the parrot roost on the very top, carrying the pods around and pretending like he has Amazon powers. His imagination & curiosity are definitely being fed. It’s been pretty much the only thing he’s played with the last few days, which is saying a lot, considering that he almost exclusively plays with Legos.

“The kapok tree launch game is honestly REALLY fun! I was playing with it and was getting ‘too loud’ because I was so proud of myself for nailing every single launch.”

  • Very impressed with how sturdy everything is—the cardboard animals, kapok tree, and playsets.
  • The kapok tree launch game is honestly REALLY fun! I was playing with it and was getting “too loud” because I was so proud of myself for nailing every single launch.
  • The pop-up playsets are so much fun. Well-made, love the infographics style and pop-up surprises and elements incorporated throughout. Also love how easily it can be folded and stored.
  • We know it says good for kids 3-5, but Leila (7) was all about it! She loved everything about it—from assembly to reading the fun facts and playing with the games and activities,
  • Another major feat for Little Passports in terms of producing fun, engaging, and educational products for kids!

“They all absolutely loved it, and begged for another box.”

Absolutely amazing learning experience! We received the Little Passport for ages 3-5, for reference my kids are 12, 10, 6. They all absolutely loved it, and begged for another box. We enjoyed putting the game together as a family and played several rounds. There was so much to learn about the jungle. The kids enjoyed looking at the pop-up book that was included, and learning about the different animals and layers of the jungle. We all learned something new—pink dolphins! Who knew?! If you’re looking for a fun, family-oriented learning experience, Little Passports is it!
